Pyrography comes from two words; Pyro (fire), and Graph (image). It literally means “writing with fire”, although technically speaking, it’s actually drawing with heat. I do most of my burning on Natural Edge Basswood and finish them with 3 coats of Polycrylic and a UV protectant Lacquer.
I use a double controller and pens from Razertip.
