A Graduated Candle Holder set turned from Claro Walnut! Although the picture doesn’t do those justice, still it’s worth a thousand words! Graduated in 2” increments (12”, 14”, and 16” respectively), these heirloom quality Pedestals are sure to turn heads. Claro Walnut is a hybrid of American Black Walnut and English Walnut and only grows in the Pacific Northwest.
These Pedestals are turned to hold up to a 3” diameter candle (see rendering-2nd picture) and are finish with an old fashioned, homemade friction polish containing Boiled Linseed Oil, Denatured Alcohol, and Dewaxed Shellac. This finish is durable and gives the Pedestals an already aged look. They are each weighted with a 1” diameter x 2” long piece of stainless steel for added stability. They can be personalized by burning your own initials onto the bottom. Upon ordering, simply write out your own initials and email them to me and I will print them out as a template by which to burn. You will literally be signing them yourself. What a special personal touch, and great gift idea!
